Traditional Christmas colours

Christmas cards come in all different shapes and sizes and in a huge range of colours.  Today, my cards showcase the "This Christmas" papers from the annual catalogue, so the cards use the very traditonal colours of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.

The papers are double sided and use a variety of traditional images including sheet music, snowflakes and Christmas greenery.  All gorgeous! I have simply layered pieces of the paper onto Cherry Cobbler cardstock, which in turn layers onto a Garden Green layer which has been embossed with the Holly embossing folder.
I have used the "Oh, What Fun" stamps for the greeting, which is stamped in Cherry Cobbler, and the edges of the panel are decorated with the small holly leaves from the set.  My intention was to randomly stamp the leaves around the edge of the square, but I find it very difficult to do a random pattern - it always comes out as a proper pattern!

I hope you like my traditional Christmas cards...come back next time for a different type of Christmas card!
