Birthday Wishes for my youngest teenager!

Yesterday we celebrated our youngest daughter's 14th Birthday - it was a quiet family affair with presents, pizza and chocolate cake.  That is all you need when you have had a busy few days - Monday night there was a late night school trip to the theatre in London and prior to that there was a weekend "sleepover" celebration with friends.  All great fun, but tiring!

My daughter regularly dips into my craft stash and so I knew exactly which colours to use for her card (she knows the names of the products too!).  The inside of the card was decorated with a variety of colours to represent a rainbow...not so much a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but a pile of presents. You can just see the rainbow at the back of the card! There is a very useful "swoosh" stamp in the Number of Years set that I used for the different rainbow layers.

The swing out section in the centre of the card is finished off with some little metallic star embellishments.

I have some more birthday celebration cards to share with you next time.  Thank you for popping in and visiting today
