Customer Thank You cards for May 2022 - Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop

Hello! I am participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and to reach some goals that we have set. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!

Throughout the hop we are sharing ideas and inspiration for Thank You cards to send to our customers during May 2022.  For today's project I wanted to
highlight the gorgeous new InColors.

If you place an order with me during May you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase together with one of the All Star video tutorial bundles as a gift.

This design is similar to the one that I used on the cards I sent out with my new catalogues; I've mixed a new set with one of my favourite sets that carried forward from the old catalogue. By using a similar design I have highlighted how vibrant the InColors are and how mixing and matching the colours really works.

The Sending Smiles and Biggest Wish sets are suitable for all sorts of occasions and I think that they work well together. Really versatile.

The decoration on the card front is the full height of the card and I used my Stamparatus to stamp the column of thanks from the Biggest Wish set onto Basic White card. This panel was mounted on to the right handside of a Sweet Sorbet card base. The left hand panel has a strip of InColor Designer Series Paper layered on to a slightly wider strip of Parakeet Party card. Don't the colours pop!

Continuing to mix the old with the new, I used my Stitched Rectangle dies for the label. The Sending is written in such a lovely flowing font that contrasts well with the plainer thanks and a note of thanks. The label is popped up on Dimensionals and adhered at a jaunty angle. To finish there is a trio of Iridescent Pearls - I think they might be my new favourite embellishment!

A sketch challenge for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am taking part in a blog hop with some fellow enthusiasts who love sharing their creative talents using their Stampin' Up!® products.

For this month's the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop we have a sketch to inspire us.

I have a lovely new selection of goodies from the new Annual Catalogue to choose from! However as I delved into my box, I felt like a child in a sweet shop not knowing what to choose. I plumped for the Nature's Prints bundle from the Sun Prints Suite because I was drawn to one of the samples in the catalogue - the Hello there looks so striking stamped and die cut using a stitched circle die from the Stylish shapes set. It's on p91 of the catalogue, and I knew that I wanted to include an element like that on my card today.

My Night of Navy card base is topped with an embossed layer of Gray Granite card. To emphasise the embossing I added Night of Navy ink to the inside of my embossing folder before I ran in through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. I added the ink to the side of the folder with the Stampin' Up! logo on it, and cleaned the excess ink off by running it under the tap.

Following the sketch, I added a rectangle of card to the lower right hand corner of the card. To create a back drop for the die cut images, the Gray Granite layer is stamped with second generation images using the fern and splodge stamps. Next, I added a variety of die cut images. Some of them are stamped first, others are simply cut from card stock. There is a selection of Basic White, Gray Granite, Night of Navy and Vellum pieces. On top of them, I added the sentiment which was white heat embossed on Night of Navy card.

To complete my card I wrapped some white Baker's Twine around the small layer and added some Iredescent Pearls - big one as the centre of the flowers and a scattering of smaller ones. It's funny how your creativity can be sparked - my card looks nothing like the one in the catalogue, but that is where I started!

I hope that you are inspired by my card today and that you will continue along the hop to see what the others have created too. Enjoy the projects. We would love to hear from you and so if you have been inspired, please leave a comment.

All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop - Flowering Fields Suite

Hello and welcome to our All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop for May 2022. This month we are using the Flowering Fields Suite. The projects featured in the bundle are exclusive and the tutorials come complete with photos, video directions and a supply list that includes both Metric and Imperial measurements.

Here is a sneak peek of the Flowering Fields Suite bundle of tutorials.

To enjoy the tutorials you have several options:

  • shop with me -  if you order from my online store you will receive that month's bundle for free
  • purchase - buy the bundle for £11.00
  • Join my Team - team members will receive the tutorials for free

To give you even more inspiration each of us has created another project using the Flowering Fields Suite of products. Here is my project for today.

I've made a double Z-fold card to showcase the fabulous Designer Series Papers. The base cards are made from Rich Razzleberry card, which is then decorated with layers of DSP and some Fresh Freesia card embossed with the Timeworn Type 3-D folder.

To decorate the square panel on the top, that forms the focal point, I have used the same tulip patterned paper plus a die cut row of tulips, a trio of Brass Butterflies and a circular sentiment. The thank you sentiment is
white heat embossed on Fresh Freesia card and then cut out using the Layering Circles dies. It's layered on a scalloped Rich Razzleberry circle and lifted up on dimensionals with a white Baker's Twine bow tucked in next to it.

To provide a place for a personal message I added layers of Fresh Freesia and Basic White card to the back of the card. I hope you have been inspired by my folded floral card - let me know what you think in the comments below. To see even more creative ideas using this suite you can purchase the tutorial bundle (along with previous tutorials) HERE

Thank you so much for visiting today. Click on the names below to hop around and see all the other amazing projects. Enjoy! If you live in the UK you can purchase these products below.
