You only have until 31st July to earn Bonus Days coupons!
For every £45 you spend before 31 July (catalogue price
before shipping and handling), you'll get a £4.50 Bonus Days
coupon that can be used in August. Earn as many
coupons as you can before it’s too late! There is even an early release of products from the forthcoming Autumn Winter catalogue, called Carols of Christmas,
which will be available to order from 1 August that the coupons can be used on.
Christmas in July is nearly over too. This joining offer is amazing, but there are only a few days left to get
extra gifts in your starter kit! You only have until
31 July to get the Essentials Gift Pack plus the Carols of Christmas
Stamp Set added to your starter kit for free.
And now for something creaative! I have one more Oh So Eclectic card to show you, and then I think I need to choose another stamp set to focus on!
This card features the gorgeous Naturally Eclectic papers. They are vibrant and opulent and this jewelled piece is so pretty. The Eclectic Layers Thinlits include three elements that emboss, rather than die cut. You can see one of these elements on the lower section of this card. It is wonderful to be able to create so many textures.
Thank you for stopping by today. Happy Crafting

Oh So Eclectic meets Happy Birthday Gorgeous!
My current two favourite bundles have combined beautifully on these cards. I saw the idea for this whilst I was browsing - there I go again, whiling away precious minutes when I could have actually been crafting! Anyway, the idea I saw by another demonstrator, Jackie Bultje was just great. Jackie used one of the die cut sheets in the Soft Sayings card as a stencil thereby extending the number of cards that could be made with the kit.
The die cut sheet in the Soft Sayings kit looks exactly the same as the geometric die in the Eclectic Layers Thinlits. So, I took my die and some of our window sheet and made my own stencil. I applied ink through the stencil to Whisper White cardstock using the sponge brayers. I found that I got the best results by gently rolling the sponge on to the ink pad and the gently rolling it across the card. To start with the colour looks patchy and a bit pitted like orange peel, but with each roll of the brayer the layers were built up and gradually little by little the colour becomes more solid and even.
The happy birthday comes from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set - I stamped the words first and then stamped the surround, which is a little counter intuative. Naturally, without thinking about it I would want to stamp the box and then the words, but I honestly found I got better results when I did things in a topsy turvy way! The Classic Label punch makes it a breeze to have a neat and tidy greeting.
The only thing left to do is to add your choice of bling. I tried sequins (fiddly, but slightly more rustic), basic rhinestones and metallic enamel shapes (my favourite!).
Thank you for visiting today. Happy crafting,

Oh So Eclectic again!
Hello and welcome to the second instalment of cards that I have made with the Oh So Eclectic bundle.
I have been keeping a mental note of cards that I have admired and I've been waiting for an opportunity to sit down and make some of them. Do you find that as soon as you have seen a card made with a particular stamp set or technique that you like that you are quite subconsciously drawn to other similar cards as you while away precious minutes on Pinterest or blog hopping?
This first card imprinted itself in my mind after I saw it on Denita Wright-Smee's blog. It was a perfect card to make to go along with some little 'thank you' gifts that my daughter took into school at the end of term. The only thing I changed from the original was to make it a thank you card.
The other card I have to share with you today that uses the same basic design, but instead of the pure white background I have added colour which changes the card completely. A Night of Navy card base is an excellent foil for the Lemon Lime Twist embossed layer. The Layered Leaves folder is one of the new dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders that gives a deep tactile finish to the card and the shape of the leaves compliment the die cut leaves so well.
The gorgeous Berry Burst flower in the middle sits on top of several Lemon Lime Twist die cut leaves and a few delicate sequins. The die cut square layers reinforce the strong colour combination.
I am so pleased that I purchased this bundle. It is truly versatile, and I have barely started experimenting with it!
