Artfully Layered Thanks

Hello and welcome to my blog. This is my card to entry to Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights for February 2022 - the theme is Thank you. This is a cheer you up sort of card - the colours are so fresh and it was a joy to make! So much so that I made lots of very similar ones for a team swap.

The card is quite simple but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Layering DSP and dies cuts together is a classic card making technique - I've used the Stitched Rectangles and the Layering Contours (which are some of my favourite dies) along with the new Tropical Layers dies.

The Basic White card layer nests neatly inside the scalloped layer and has been embossed using the Wintry 3-d Embossing Folder. I was surprised how much the texture of the leaves in the embossing folder resemble some of the leaves on the patterned paper. So, even though leaves in this suite are by any means wintry, quite the opposite in fact, they complement each other well. And, I do like the added texture!

The leaves and sentiment are both stamped in Evening Evergreen ink and then the finishing touches include enhanching the leaf detail with a swoosh of Wink of Stella, a Linen Thread bow and some of my favourite gold Metallic Pearls. Popping the decorated panel up on Dimensionals completes my leafy thank you card perfectly.

As mentioned at the beginning I am entering Kylie's International Project Highlights and you can follow the link to the gallery where you will find heaps more inspiration AND you can vote for your favourite five projects. At the end of the voting the Top Ten winners will be invited to take part in a blog hop at the end of the month.

I would love to take part in the hop, so I would really appreciate your help. Please would you visit the gallery and vote for my card? Click on the little heart on my card, which is number 13.

Rainbow of Happiness Happy Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today, I am sharing another card using the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set. I can't stop using the happy rainbow stamps and they pair so well with the fun Sunshine & Rainbow papers (they are one of the Sale-A-Bration items that can be earned for FREE with a qualifying order). They are such happy, fun papers to use - gorgeous colours and designs. And, even better that they were free!

I have the rainbow hoops set up on my Stamparatus so that I can easily replicate their placement. This time, I have used a pastel arrangement of So Saffron, Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Blushing Bride. Next time I want to try a brighter array!

The card layout is one that I adore. It's simple. It's classic. And, it allows the pattered paper to shine. As the sunshine print and the rainbow complement each other so well it was easy to create this fun birthday card.

The birthday sentiment comes from the Artfully Layered set, and it fits perfectly in one of the Stitched Rectangle dies. I'll definitely be using that combination again! The Basic Rhinestones were added to represent raindrops - y
ou need sun and rain to make a rainbow don't you? And, they look really pretty! The Bumblebee Gingham ribbon finishes the card off to perfection! Yellow is not one of my go to colours, but I think with this one it has well and truly won me over. I hope you like it too.

If you want to purchase the items used for these cards, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop. You can follow the link or click on the pictures below of the products I have used today.

Stay safe and as always, happy crafting,

Rainbow of Happiness Cards for Customer Thank Yous for January 2022 - Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop

Hello! I am participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and to reach some goals that we have set. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!

Throughout the hop we are sharing ideas and inspiration for Thank You cards to send to our customers during January.

If you place an order with me during January you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase together with this month's All Star video tutorial bundle as a gift.

I included a little card with the new Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration brochure that I gave to customers, so I thought it would be apt to create another card featuring the same stamp set. I have used some of the free Sale-A-Bration papers for the backgrounds - I have a batch of Bumblebee ones using the Simply Marbelous papers and another batch of Pool Party ones using the Sunshine & Rainbow papers. Aren't those hearts on the Pool Party DSP adorable?

I stamped the rainbow with the help of my Stamparatus. It's fabulous when you want to create multiples of the same thing, especially when the images need precise positioning! The cards are accessorised with coordinating ribbon, Brushed Brass Butterflies and/or Irredescent Rhinestones plus a die cut from the Amazing Thanks set. The outline layer is in Basic White and it is topped with a detailed coordinating layer - each of the Thanks has been trimmed to remove the s so that I could make the message say Thank You.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope you have been inspired! As mentioned at the beginning, this is a blog hop so make sure you hop ar0und to see the other amazing projects on the hop! Click on the links below to visit them.

Do you need any of the products used on today's card? Click on the shopping links below to add them to your collection now.
