Customer Thank You cards for June 2022 - Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop

Hello! I am participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and to reach some goals that we have set. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!

Throughout the hop we are sharing ideas and inspiration for Thank You cards to send to our customers during June.

If you place an order with me during June 2022 you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase together with
the All Star video tutorial for the month (featuring the Heart & Home Suite) as a gift.

I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Lovely in Linen Suite this weekend, so I've decided to use it for my thank you cards this month. There are some really useful sentiments in the stamp set and there is also a coordinating punch; you can purchase the stamps and punch as a bundle for bundled savings!

The papers mix and match together wonderfully and my cards are constructed using strips of paper measuring 1 1/2" wide. I am usually a metric measurer (and indeed I used centimetres to chop the length of the strips), but 1 1/2" wide just worked for these cards. I particularly like the blue pattern, which is the flip side of the flowers, but alas it is almost all gone...I will have to buy another pack!

The three strips of paper nest onto the Soft Succulent layer, which in turn sits within the largest of the Scalloped Contour dies and onto a Basic White card base. Sweet Sorbet provides a pop of colour to complement the flowers and at the same time lifts the muted colours.

The frame is stamped, the sentiment is added using a different colour and then it's punched out using the Lasting Label punch. To finish the card the label is lifted on dimensionals over a twist of luxurious Soft Succulent Satin Ribbon. Inside the card, I used the mosaic tile stamp from the set to create a border. The stamps are photopolymer so it's easy to line up and build a pattern.

A colour challenge for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am taking part in a blog hop with some fellow enthusiasts who love sharing their creative talents using their Stampin' Up!® products.

For this month's Stamping Inkspiration Blog Hop we have a colour combination to inspire us. Blue and purple are my favourite colours, so this is right up my street!

I've chosen to use two of the new InColors together with one of the Tea Boutique card bases for my card today. These wonderful card bases are pre-printed with fabulous patterns and come with coordinating envelopes.

I've topped my card base with a Starry Sky frame cut with the largest of the Fabulous Frames dies; the rectangle die adds embossed detailing as it cuts. Within this frame there is an Orchid Oasis layer, which is embossed with the Timeworn Type 3-d folder. It has a random pattern that just adds that something extra!

The decorative elements on the card are made using the Honeybee Home bundle and Starry Sky card, some of which are heat embossed in white. To emphasise it and to make it popagainst the background, the flower stem is mounted on dimensionals above a leafy silhouette and a strip of InColor DSP. To complement the white heat embossing I added a trio of white Matt Enamel dots.

I hope that you are inspired by my card today and that you will continue along the hop to see what the others have created too. Enjoy the projects. We would love to hear from you and so if you have been inspired, please leave a comment.

All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop - Heart & Home Suite

Hello and welcome to our All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop for June 2022. This month we are using the Heart & Home Suite. The projects featured in the bundle are exclusive and the tutorials come complete with photos, video directions and a supply list that includes both Metric and Imperial measurements.

Here is a sneak peek of the Heart & Home bundle of tutorials.

  • purchase - buy the bundle for £11.00
  • Join my Team - team members will receive the tutorials for free

Here is a sneak peek of my project for the tutorial bundle.

To give you even more inspiration, each of us has created another project using the Heart & Home products. I am using the Honeybee Home Bundle for my project today.

Again, I have used Kraft notecards and Distressed Gold 12 x 12 paper; they complement each other so well, and I couldn't resist using them again.

The bees and the sentiment are gold heat embossed on Basic Black card and while I had the Versamark ink pad out I also created my background layer. I stamped Best of Luck repeatedly over a piece of Kraft cardstock using Versamark ink. When this ink dries it creates subtle tone on tone images. And the good news is that, you can create this effect on any colour of card!

I used the 3-d Hive Embossing Folder to add texture to the Distressed Gold paper and the Beautiful Shapes dies to cut out the hexagon shapes. Instead of using dimensionals to raise the hexagons up, I cut multiple black hexagons and stacked them to create different heights. The bees are adhered with glue dots and there's a sprinkling of Rustic Metallic dots to finish off my card.

Aside from their importance in our world, bees are very on trend for home decor at the moment, and they are also the emblem for ther city where my children are at university.
I know I am going to get a lot of use from this bundle! I hope you like my project and that you have been encouraged to create and send a card too. Let me know what you think in the comments below. If you want to be inspired with more ideas using this suite you can purchase the tutorial bundle (along with previous tutorials) HERE
