The notecards are quick and easy to put together. The patterned paper is so fresh and clean looking that I wanted it to be the focus of the notecards, which are then finished off with a simple stamped sentiment.
The first notecard is finished off with a sentiment from the retiring Oh So Succulent stamp set which is stamped and then die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits - oh, I adore these - and layered onto a die cut scalloped oval and some satin ribbon.
The other two notecards use the beautifully scripted sentiments from the gorgeous Birthday Blooms stamp set. Above, the tiny flowers have been punched from the Tree Builder punch to add depth and texture to the patterned paper. Don't they complement the little ditsy flowers in the pattern really well?
And below, the sentiment is again layered onto a Stitched Shapes oval. The notecard shows off both sides of the patterned paper beautifully and the ribbon makes a feature of the join between them.
The holder itself is made using the fabulous Gift Bag Punch Board. I started with an A4 piece of Old Olive card and cut it at 15cm (resulting in a piece measuring 15cm x 29.7cm). The length is slightly shorther than that suggested in the instructions which come with the board, but I found that there is just enough to make a large sized bag - Tear & Tape is the perfect width for the tab to close the bag.

Now you have a special box made from the Gift Bag Punch Board ready to fill with your pretty notecards. Will it sit on your desk or will you give it away as a gift?
