Valentine's Day is just over a week away now, so I couldn't resist showing you one more of my red and white makes specially designed for February 14th! It would make a super gift for someone you love on any day of the year though.
The Sending Love Designer Series Paper forms the centre piece and backdrop for the embossed heart and the dinky note. The gold foil bow finishes the picture and gives it that shiny finishing touch. The Bow Builder Punch and a bone folder (to curl the elements before assembly) make it easy to construct the bow.
The handmade square frame sits wonderfully on the little easel allowing this unique love gift to be displayed in all its glory.

Its all about little love notes. The ditsy love heart patterened paper sets off the cute glassine envelope containing a teeny tiny note.
Here is the whole card on show. Those tiny overlapping hearts in the middle are so so cute!

Today I have a collection of Valentine cards to show you. They are 4 inches square of cute gorgeousness. Is that even a word?
The first two are predominately Whisper White. They stand up
in a little red box, ready to send whenever the mood takes - its not
always necessary to wait for Valentine's Day to send a love note is it?
The Sending Love Designer Series Paper stack is, once again, my starting point so I have used traditional red and white colours. These ones are mostly Real Red!
The tiny envelope is made from a glassine sheet using one of the framelits from the Love Notes set. You can even make a tiny note to put into the envelope!

As soon as I saw the Sending Love suite in the catalogue, I knew I was going to love creating with it. I was right! There are lots of heart stamps, papers in traditional colours and other elements including mini paper clips, wooden embellishments and ribbons to choose from. I was like a small child in an old fashioned sweet shop and I didn't really know where to start!
So, after some oohing and arrhing over the gorgeous patterened paper and the cute stamps I began working on some "LOVE" cards. Valentine's Day is just around the corner so hearts in traditional colours are the order of the day for now. However, the little envelopes and hearts would be beautiful on Mother's Day or Wedding or Anniversary cards using colours other than red and white.
This card is a variation on a z-fold card that I have come to use quite a bit, and I have restricted the colour palette to the traditional Real Red and Whisper White. There is plenty of room to display lots of hearts and share lots of love.
