Happy 18th with Affectionately Yours!

A birthday card is always a pleasure to make and send, and a card to celebrate an 18th birthday is no different.  Well, maybe it is even more special.  This time I have teamed up the Affectionately Yours papers with the Number of Years stamps and matching framelits to create the focal point of the card.

The "Happy Birthday" words come from the elegant Rose Wonder set, which is another whole lot of wonderful.  I do hope that the recipient enjoyed turning 18!

Sending a smile your way with Love & Affection!

I was lucky enough to see and use the Affectionately Yours Suite of products before the annual catalogue was launched as part of the recent Stampin' Up event in Telford.  I knew then, that I needed to own it and create with it at home! 

 

The first card I made used some of the gorgeous Designer Series Paper.  In the past I have been guilty of hoarding paper...but from now on, I have resolved to use it and not just look at it...I can always buy more, can't I? The sentiment has been embossed using the new copper embossing powder, which adds an elegance all of its own.

This pack of Designer Series Paper includes two very special pieces which have a copper element on them giving a real feel of luxury.  The sentiment is again embossed with the copper powder to compliment the patterned paper.  

Such kind, thoughtful sentiments.  Who would you send a card to with these special wishes on?

Sprinkles of Life

The new Annual catalogue will be with us very soon.  It is stuffed with fabulous new products and five new In Colors.  It will be launched on 1st June and I cant wait to share with you.  So, not long to wait now, just around the corner...

I am so pleased that the Sprinkles of Life set is staying with us in the new catalogue. It is such a fun set.  Last weekend I crafted with friends and I shared several cards made with this extremely versatile stamp set. There is a coordinating punch too!  You can produce trees, clouds,  ice creams and cupcakes all with the same set.  I think you will agree that IS versatile.

It is the "cloud" stamp in the set can be used to create cupcakes, ice creams and of course clouds, which can then be punched out with the Tree Builder Punch.  The tent card shows you how you can make gorgeous little trees too.

Folding the card flat makes it easy to pop into an envelope to post!

More Birthday Blooms!

The birthday celebrations are still going on and so I'm still making birthday cards...but everyone needs birthday cards to send, don't they?

The combination of Island Indigo and Pool Party is a firm favourite of mine, and you might be fooled into thinking that these are the only colours that I use.  Honestly, I do have other colours and I do use them!  I do like blue though!

Sadly, the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon and the Curvy Corner Trio Punch are retiring to make way for exciting products coming in the new catalogue, which launches to customers on 1st June 2016.

You can see in the Blushing Bride and Rose Red version above that the Blushing Bride Glimmer paper can be used to great effect too. See, I do use other colours!
