Customer Thank You cards June - Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Furry Cat Designs! I am Karen Henderson and I'm participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in the training that is helping us with our Stampin' Up!® business. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!

We are sharing ideas for Thank You cards to send to our customers duing June 2021. If you place an order with me during June you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase!

Initially, I created this card to participate in a card swap with other Demonstrators - the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle is wonderful to work with and I loved making them, so I decided to make some more for my customer Thank You cards this month. It has proved to be a design that lends itself well to a production line approach. Preparation is the key and it is satisfying to see the piles of supplies growing as card bases and layers are cut, doing the stamping, die cutting and embossing and finally the assembly. Taking piles of bits and combining them into cards is so rewarding.

The Evening Evergreen card base is topped with an embossed layer of Basic White card. The Scalloped Contour die cut layer acts as a frame for the pretty spray of flowers and even though the two layers are both white they are distict because of the differing textures. The spray of flowers is stamped in Evening Evergreen and coloured using the solid stamps from the set and the other new InColors. They all work in harmony to make a beautiful floral focal point - I've popped it up on dimensionals, added a few die cut Evening Evergreen leaves, a couple of Genial Gems and a flash of ribbon to finish the card off.

  3. I live this card Karen! The simple details really add to the card - I love your use of evening evergreen as the card base, repeated in the leaf detail and ribbon detail, it’s very cohesive and then the flowers just pop - such a great card to learn from - thx for the inspiration 🙂
