World of Good Birthday Greetings

Hello and welcome to my blog. For me, March is  bumper month for celebrating birthdays and last week it was the turn of my twins. Obviously there had to be cards! The first one used the Best Dressed bundle and the matching now retired papers, but it was so appropriate because shoes were the gift of choice! Here's a picture to show you what it looked like.

The second card features the World of Good suite and the Many Messages bundle and I used them to create a pop and twist card. The card design is inspired by
Susan Wong of #thecraftycarrotco. In the past, I have been disappointed with my attempts to create a pop and twist card but following Susan's instructions for the mechanism I am happy to say that I it worked!

By happy accident this card also fulfils the requirements of this week's Global Design Project #284 challenge to CASE the designer. Krista's fabulous card to CASE features the World of Good suite!

There are lots of layers and textures on my card, and I think that the card front would work as a stand alone card without the pop and twist mechanism. Sometimes though you just need to do the whole shebang.

The sentiments are from the Many Messages bundle and to complement the patterned paper they are gold heat embossed on Misty Moonlight card.

On the inside of the card the decoration is simple, yet it ties in with the front of the card too. I love the swirly gold die cut, it tucks in to add that little something!

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope that you have been inspired to create something. If you want to purchase the items used for this card, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop. You can follow the link or click on the pictures below of the products I have used today.

Stay safe and as always, happy crafting,

Customer Thank You cards for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop March 2021

Hello! I am participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in training that is helping us with our Stampin' Up!® business. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!

We are sharing ideas for Thank You cards to send to our customers during March. If you place an order with me during March 2021 you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase!

I am absolutely loving using the Hydrangea Hill Suite, so I have used it again for my thank you cards. I know that hydrangeas can produce different coloured blooms depending on what type of soil they are growing in and, as I have made plenty of purple and blue flowers, this time I have made a pink version. The designer series paper is so pretty and shows a variety of shades, just like real flowers!

My card base is Blushing Bride and I have teamed that up with Basic Gray card and ink - I felt that black ink would be too harsh and that the pink and grey tones worked much more harmoniously together.

After stamping the large flower on Basic White card I coloured it with a trio of pinks. Using a sponge dauber I stippled Blushing Bride, Petal Pink and a hint of Rococo Rose to create a range of colours on the petals, and then added highlights and extra texture by adding some single die cut petals, topped with basic pearls.

The darling little tags are the perfect size for the thank you and are simply tied with a white bakers twine bow.
It's difficult to see, but there is a hint of sparkle from the Wink of Stella glitter brush too.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope you have been inspired! As mentioned at the beginning, this is a blog hop so make sure you hop around to see the other amazing projects on the hop! Click on the links below to visit them.
