Stamping Inkspirations - March 2021 Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am taking part in a blog hop with some fellow enthusiasts who love sharing their creative talents using their
Stampin' Up!® products. This month the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop is all about Spring!

The seasons are definitely changing and Spring is on its way. I am so grateful for the days growing longer, for the blue skies and the blossoming blooms. For my cards today I have taken myself out of my comfort zone. I am naturally drawn towards blue and purple tones, so shocking as it might be, today I am sharing cards without any hint of them!

I have used the fabulous Pretty Perennials bundle and reworked a layout that I have used before - same card but different! You can see the original (purple!) one here. I can't wait to see all the gardens coming alive with colour as the plants and flowers unfurl over the coming months.

I have many birthdays and other celebrations to mark over the next few weeks, so these cards will be ready and waiting to use. It's funny how some month's are so much busier than others for birthdays isn't it?

The colours I have used are Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake and the cascade of flowers makes me think of a well stocked cottage garden or a pretty vase of flowers. The happy sentiment is white heat embossed on vellum and can be teamed up with a variety of alternatives to suit many occasions. It certainly makes me happy!

While I was venturing away from my purple and blue comfort blanket I continued stamping and made a cute little square card too. I left it without a sentiment for one of those just because occasions and finished it with some simple splatters and a bow tied with linen thread.

I am so looking forward to Spring and all the new things it brings. I hope that my projects have inspired you and that you will continue along the hop to see what the others have created too - Jill is next.
I am sure you will be filled with inspiration. We would love to hear from you and so if you have been inspired, please leave a comment.
