Butterfly Bouquet

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am participating in a blog hop, organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program, to introduce the brand new Butterfly Bouquet products. These products will be available to customers from 2nd March 2021.

To begin with let me share my project with you. It's a pop up spring card - I haven't made one of these for ages, but I think that it works well with the butterfly theme.

Now, I can introduce you to the products. The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle comprises of stamps and dies that are
an early-release product from 2021–2022 Annual Catalogue. The large stamp has a coordinating die which cuts the individual butterflies and in addition there are individual dies to cut more intricate butterfly shapes.

Also included with this release are the Butterfly Bijou 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper stack and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper which are both available for purchase during the Butterfly Bouquet Promotion which runs until 3rd May (or while supplies last).

One of the sheets of DSP has large butterfly images which can be die cut using the largest die yielding beautiful butterflies ready to create stunning projects.
Once you've cut out a swarm of butterflies, you can create a background, make a focal point, or use them as accents. And, that's exactly what I did! These butterflies are straight from the DSP.

The spring card is made from Basic Black card as it is such a perfect foil for all the butterfly colours. Here, a Calypso Coral Stitched Shape square is topped with a So Saffron square, embossed with the Scripty folder before adding the die cut butterflies.  Butterflies have such universal appeal and lend themselves to all sorts of occasions. The Itty Bitty Greetings set has plenty of sentiments to choose from so I have used that to accessorise my cards with.

This alternative version uses the pattern on the back of the paper. I stamped the butterflies in Black Memento ink on the colour wash background and die cut them for an alternative pile of butterflies. So pretty!

A group of butterflies is often referred to as a kaleidoscope and I can't wait to use the rest of mine.
Imagine the possibilities with these beauties! Thanks so much for popping in today. As mentioned at the beginning, this is a blog hop so make sure you hop around to see the other wonderful projects on this hop. Click on the links below to visit them.
