All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop - Hydrangea Hill Suite

Hello and welcome to our All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team blog hop for March 2021. This month we are using the Hydrangea Hill Suite. The
projects featured in the bundle are exclusive and the tutorials come complete with photos, video directions and a supply list that includes both metric and imperial measurements.

Here is a sneak peek of the Hydrangea Hill bundle of tutorials.

To enjoy these tutorials you have several options:

  • Shop with me - if you order from my online store you will receive that month's bundle for free
  • Purchase - Buy the bundle for £11.50
  • Join my Team - team members will receive the tutorials for free

To give you even more inspiration each of us has created another project using this stunning bundle. Here is my project for today.

I have
used the Stitched Rectangle dies to create an aperture in a Highland Heather card base and to create the focal point I used two layering dies to cut a frame in Seaside Spray. Then, I sandwiched a layer of Mercury Glass acetate between the frame and the card base. This window looks almost like a mirror and is stunning in real life - I do hope that its beauty is adequately captured on film!

I have used one of my favourite techniques to create the backgrounds - I have used one of the smaller floral filler stamps for the tone on tone stamping. It's easy to do and adds subtle coordination to the card front. The flower is assembled by layering different coloured die cut pieces, then decorated with silver metallic pearls and a generous Seaside Spray bow. Isn't the dinky tag adorable? It can be stamped with for you or with love instead of the thank you.

Inside the card I added a Basic White die cut rectangle decorated simply with a stamped bloom. This suite is truly gorgeous - it takes me back to visits to my Grandparents and their beautiful garden. I could create with it all day!

Let me know what you think in the comments below. If you want to be inspired with more ideas using this suite you can purchase the tutorial bundle (along with previous tutorials) HERE.
