Hydrangea Haven Thank You - International Project Highlights for March

Hello and welcome to my blog. The Hydrangea Hill Suite of products are still on my desk and I am loving using them. The blousy blooms sit wonderfully on these small square easel cards which are my for my entry to Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights for March 2021 - the theme is Thank You. The Hydrangea Haven stamps have two sentiments that are perfect for this purpose; a straightforward thank you and I appreciate all the little things you do. Sending card is a simple pleasure and a such a worthwhile gesture of appreciation. I should do this way more often!

There is very little actual stamping on these cards as I wanted to focus on the beautiful papers and die cuts. The sentiments are stamped in Gorgeous Grape on a die cut sentiment strip - I'm so happy to see the stitching detail around the edge! And, for the thank you card, the background is created by randomly stamping the small cluster of flowers all around the edge of the layer.

The large bloom is die cut, layered to assemble and adorned with a bow. The textured petals were decorated with a sponge dauber and Frost White Shimmer paint - a little bit of paint from the lid was stippled over them to give a pretty pearly sheen. As a complement to the paint I've added a few Metallic or Pastel Pearls to finish off the cards.

As I mentioned at the beginning I am entering Kylie's International Highlights and you can follow the link to the gallery where you will find heaps more inspiration AND you can vote for your favourite five projects. At the end of the voting the Top Ten winners will be invited to take part in a blog hop at the end of March.

I would love to take part in the hop, so I would be really appreciate your help. Please would you visit the gallery and vote for my card? My card is number 24.
