Hello and welcome to my blog. There are only a couple of days left to enjoy the benefits of Sale-A-Bration - it ends on Sunday 28th February.

Remember, there are multiple ways to benefit during the Sale-A-Bration promotion, and here is a quick reminder:

  • earn a discount on future purchases as long as you are an active demonstrator
I love making and sending cards and I also love swapping cards with fellow demonstrators - it's a fabulous way to gain new ideas and is a traditional part of in person Stampin' Up! gatherings. Whilst we have been unable to meet in person, I have still enjoyed the wonders of swapping by participating in a couple of swaps via the post. S0 much fun!

At the start of Sale-A-Bration I coordinated a swap amongst team members and this is the card I made - I have used this card sketch, featuring the Quite Curvy Bundle, lots of times and I love how it works with a variety of papers. On this version, the punched daisy makes a wonderful focal point - two punched daisies with their centres highlighted with a hint of Pool Party ink (applied using the Blending Brushes for subtle coverage), offset to give a fuller flower and topped with a Resin Dot.

I made the same card using different papers from the same pack too.

I wanted to use these papers again but I challenged myself to use the same sketch but to adapt it and to only use stamps and punches - no die cutting allowed!

I think that the Flowers & Field papers rose to the challenge perfectly and look fabulous teamed up with sentiments from the Happiest of Birthdays set. The Medium Daisy punch creates the same focal point as the original card and I've finished them off with either Matte Black dots or the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots. Aren't these super simple cards effective?

Thank you for stopping by today - I hope I have inspired you to use and adapt a favourite card sketch to make a new and different version! If you want to purchase the items used for these cards, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop. You can follow the link or click on the pictures below of the products I have used today.

Stay safe and as always, happy crafting,
