Hello and welcome to my blog! I am extremely happy to be hopping with some fellow enthusiasts who enjoy creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do! This month the theme for the hop is 'love is in the air', so please prepare to be inspired and have fun perusing the hop.
Love is what makes the world go round and it is almost Valentine's Day, so I have used my love of hearts as the starting point for my card. Of course, hearts can be used any time of the year and the theme can cover all sorts of love. This one will be for my sweetheart!
I have a few heart themed stamp sets to choose from, but I limited myself to just one of them for today's card. I am working with the Lots of Heart Bundle which has a photopolymer stamp set together with a comprehensive set of dies.
I think that these two traditional colours always have the wow! factor. I cut a pile of hearts in Basic White and Real Red and played with them to create layers and texture. To make the assembly as fuss free as possible I adhered adhesive sheets to the card stock before I did the die cutting.
The stamped gingham heart is just adorable and I know that I am going to be using that a lot. I foresee a rainbow of hearts! I hope that my project has inspired you to embrace the love is in the air theme, whether that is to shower your loved ones with love or even to show some love to your crafty stash. Please continue along the hop to see what Susan and the others have created. I am sure you will be filled with inspiration. We would love to hear from you - so If you have been inspired, please leave a comment.
