My project for today has lots of dimension and is heavily textured...and is probably best to be hand delivered!

The card I have used, in the main, is Shimmery White and Magenta Madness. I added texture to several pieces of Shimmery White card using a variety of embossing folders and cut them into strips to make one of Bruno's Scrappy Strip backgrounds. Next, I crumpled some Magenta Madness card until it was soft and pliable, and die cut the pieces for the 3-d flower. Before assembling the pieces together I used a sponge dauber to add some Frost White Shimmer paint to the edges of the petals, giving them a subtle hue. It also adds a little sparkle, complementing the Shimmery White background.

I stamped and die cut the largest flower in Granny Apple Green to provide some scaffolding for the 3-d flower. Extra leaves are either stamped in Granny Apple Green ink or die cut using scraps of Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.
The sentiment is heat embossed in white, trimmed using Snips and mounted onto a border. The die cuts the scalloped edge and embosses all in one go. Such a beautiful edge! Finally, I added a bow tied with the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon.

Before you continue on your way around the hop, here is a sneak peek at my project included in the Tutorial Bundle this month.

    1. Glad you like it Cheryll. Crumpling the card always seems an unnatural way to enhance the finished article, but it does work!!
