Hello!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today, I have made another card using the To A Wild Rose set to join in with the Clean and Simple theme challenge over at The Paper Players.

http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/2020/04/pp-494-cas-theme-challenge-from-anne.html

This little square card is the perfect size to write short notes on so that we can keep in touch. The cards are 9.9cm sqaure so, one sheet of A4 yields three cards! The outline of the flower is stamped in Night of Navy and the petals are filled in with Melon Mambo - the larger solid layer is stamped off first to create a lighter shade, and the second, more detailed one is stamped full strength. The two-step stamps create all the shading for you and bring the rose alive. After die cutting the rose was curled and mounted, on layers of Night of Navy and Melon Mambo, using Dimensionals.

A simple hello is stamped in Night of Navy - it fills the space perfectly. Then it's the fun bit - adding the sparkle! I've added Rhinestones, a Faceted Gem, Silver Glimmer paper and splatters from my Wink of Stella pen. Too much sparkle?

Thank you for visiting me today - I'm going to write out some cards and go for a walk (taking my daily exercise!) to post them. If you want to purchase the items used for this card, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop.  You can follow the link or click on the pictures below of the products I have used today.
