To give you even more inspiration each of us has created another project using the Artfully Composed Suite of products. Here is my project for today.

I have combined designer series paper, dies and stamps from the Artfully Composed Suite together with other staples from my collection. The front of the Thick Basic White card base is completely covered with an embossed piece of Basic White. The  Wintry 3-d Embossing Folder is one of the narrower folders, but I've hidden the join under the decorative panel, and I love how the texture complements the DSP.

The DSP panel is the full height of the card and is enhanced with a narrow border of Evening Evergreen and a decorative, die cut Pear Pizzazz border. I've also used Pear Pizzazz for the die cut spray of leaves but, to provide some contrast, the larger leaf is cut from the slightly darker shade of Old Olive. For consistency, I stamped the leaf detail and the sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink and I really like the way it pops against the green and the white. I'm also really pleased how the Stitched Rectangle die cut label is such a perfect fit for the sentiment!

To complete the card I added some sparkle (Iridescent Rhinestones and Wink of Stella on the larger leaf) and a dainty Baker's Twine bow. This was so much fun to put together and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I hope you like it too.

  2. Love how you brought in the embossing folder. I would not have thought about bringing these two together.
