Hello! I am participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and to reach some goals that we have set. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!
Throughout the hop we are sharing ideas and inspiration for Thank You cards to send to our customers during February. For today's project I wanted to highlight the same suite that is featured in the All Star tutorial this month - Artfully Composed Suite.
I have so enjoyed creating with this suite. During the gloomy February days creating something with a tropical feel is most welcome. To purchase the suite you can click HERE and if you place an order with me during February you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase together with one of the video tutorial bundles as a gift.
At the beginning of any new catalogue a group of us participate in a team swap to share ideas and to inspire each other. I really enjoy coordinating the swap and love seeing all the different designs and styles. I need to say a big thank you to Ruth Blackett because I have used one of her swap cards as the basis for my thank you cards this month.
It is very satisfying to be able to transform a pile of ingredients into a finished project. Here are the card pieces before the production line began.
I've taken a sheet of the Designer Series Paper and cut it into layers that are smaller than a card front and embossed them with the stripes pattern from the new Stripes & Splatters 3-d embossing folder. I missed these folders the first, and second, time I flicked through the catalogue! Next, I've layered it onto a Cajun Craze layer and then onto a Mint Macaron card base.
For the decoration I've picked out the colours in the DSP (Mint Macaron and Old Olive) and die cut a trio of leaves for extra dimension and texture. Cajun Craze isn't a colour that I use very often but, I think that here, it helps the foliage and the sentiment to pop. Finally, I added a trio of metallic gold pearls.
Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope you have been inspired! As mentioned at the beginning, this is a blog hop so make sure you hop ar0und to see the other amazing projects on the hop! Click on the links below to visit them.
