Hello and welcome to my blog. Today, I am sharing another card using the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set. I can't stop using the happy rainbow stamps and they pair so well with the fun Sunshine & Rainbow papers (they are one of the Sale-A-Bration items that can be earned for FREE with a qualifying order). They are such happy, fun papers to use - gorgeous colours and designs. And, even better that they were free!
I have the rainbow hoops set up on my Stamparatus so that I can easily replicate their placement. This time, I have used a pastel arrangement of So Saffron, Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Blushing Bride. Next time I want to try a brighter array!
The card layout is one that I adore. It's simple. It's classic. And, it allows the pattered paper to shine. As the sunshine print and the rainbow complement each other so well it was easy to create this fun birthday card.
The birthday sentiment comes from the Artfully Layered set, and it fits perfectly in one of the Stitched Rectangle dies. I'll definitely be using that combination again! The Basic Rhinestones were added to represent raindrops - you need sun and rain to make a rainbow don't you? And, they look really pretty! The Bumblebee Gingham ribbon finishes the card off to perfection! Yellow is not one of my go to colours, but I think with this one it has well and truly won me over. I hope you like it too.
