Arrange a Wreath for Easter

Hello and welcome to my blog! The Global Design Project has a colour challenge this week which spoke to me and said Easter eggs - you know the pastel foil wrapped kind that contain delicious chocolate.

The colours for challenge #GDP285 are So Saffron, Seaside Spray and Sahara Sand. Aren't they a pretty colour combination?

I have used the Arrange a Wreath bundle for my card, which will sadly be retiring soon. The combination of stamps and dies makes it a set that has been useful through the seasons and for many occasions.

Here, I die cut wreaths from Sahara Sand and Vellum cardstocks and layered them on top of each other to give the wreath depth. They sit over the Brick & Mortar embossed background, which is decorated with a few splatters from a Stampin' Write marker. After stamping and die cutting, the darling little eggs were arranged around the wreath together with a sprinkling of Basic Rhinestones.

The wooden looking label was cut out with Snips and then the greeting was stamped using a slightly darker shade to make it stand out. The die cut flowers and foliage finish off the sentiment and pull all the elements together. Finally, I hung the wreath using a large Baker's Twine bow.

Thank you for stopping by today - with all this talk about Easter eggs I think I need to find a chocolate fix now! Have a very happy Easter weekend.
