Repetitive stamping makes a fabulous background, and I really like it when it is tone on tone. So, I stamped rows of compasses in Crumb Cake and they make a great foil for the die cut globe. Just make sure that you are stamping the points of the compass in the correct orientation! The panel is mounted on a slightly bigger piece of Misty Moonlight which is offset on an Early Espresso layer. The Old World Paper Embossing Folder gives a terrific crinkled effect to the panel - I can see this folder being used lots over the coming weeks...maybe even to give the illusion of ripples in water!

This suite has been a joy to work with. I have used the Brass Foil sheets to add a little bit of luxury and shine to the die cut elements - aren't the twirly scrolls lovely finishing accents? I have used a couple of products from elsewhere in the catalogue to finish off the card. The first one is a new punch - the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch which enables you to punch banners for sentiments in two designs and three widths. How useful will that be? I cut a strip 2.5cm wide, punched the end and then heat embossed the words in gold. The final embellishment was a tiny red heart - I used the Detailed Hearts die, but alternatively the Stitched Be Mine dies or the Dog Builder Punch could be used.

Before you continue on your way around the hop here is a sneak peek at my project included in the Tutorial Bundle this month.
