I can't thank you enough

Hello and welcome to my blog. Since I was very young, I have always loved making things and I am particularly grateful that I have crafting to turn to in these times of isolation. Being creative helps me and I hope that sharing my cards brings sunshine to those who receive them.

Today, I am participating in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight for May 2020 and it's all about saying Thank You.

Now the fun bit about this Highlight is that there is an inspirational gallery of projects, all with a Thank You theme, that you can visit and vote for your favourite five projects. At the end of the voting the Top Ten Winners will be invited to take part in an International Blog Hop at the end of the month. I would love to be able to take part in the hop, so I would really appreciate your help. Please will you vote for my card in the gallery?

I think the mathematical part of my brain was in charge when I started this card - there's nothing like a repetitive pattern and creating a bit of symmetry! One of the elements in the Ornate Style stamp is perfect for creating a regular pattern. I have stamped in Mint Macaron on the matching layer for a tone on tone background and also in the corners of the white die cut layer. The edges of this die cut are so pretty - stitches, scallops and perforations!

I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to create the focal point - more stitched edges! The sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set called So Sentimental and is heat embossed in gold - you know how much I like the raised shiny effect heat embossing gives. This top panel is raised up on dimensionals to add just a little bit of height.

The final touch was the addition of the Gilded Gems - an extra bit of symmetry and shine! I just couldn't resist adding them.
