World of Good Adventure

Hello and welcome to my blog. The launch of the new catalogue is just around the corner and today I am sharing a sneak peek at some of the new the new products. As a demonstrator we are given the opportunity to pre-order from a selection of products in the new catalogue ahead of the launch date. It's a perk of being a demonstrator!

The first suite that I have created with is called World of Good. There is a travel theme in the suite which includes stamps, dies, specialty Designer Series Paper (with brass foil designs on some of the sheets), Brass foil sheets, Memories and More cards, faux suede trim and antiqued trinkets. Perfect for celebrating and documenting adventures, whether they be planned, new or old ones.

I took a piece of designer series paper and white heat embossed the two globe images reapeatedly over it. The scripty background on the paper is a great foil for them and is offset on a layer of Early Espresso. I used another new product for the message - we have a new label making punch, the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, which enables you to punch two different designs in three different widths. They can be mixed and matched and layer beautifully! I punched out a strip of Mossy Meadow and a wider one in Early Espresso. The words were then stamped and heat embossed in gold on the Mossy Meadow strip - I found it easier to punch the end of the strip first so that I could position the words where I wanted them.

To finish I added some of the Faux Suede ribbon and an antique slide - it made me think of a strap you'd wrap around an old fashioned luggage bag! This layer is popped up, using black Dimensionals, and mounted on a MossyMeadow card base.

Whilst I won't be travelling very far in the near future, using these products will be the next best thing. Using them will be a good opportunity to document my daughter's 2019 inter-railing trip!
