It starts with art

Hello and welcome to my blog. As promised, today's card uses the Follow Your Art suite of products. Last time I shared a fancy fold card using this suite, and I wanted to use some of the elements to make a regular, less bulky card. You can see the fancy fold card here. I've used the same colours, but I am sure that your favourite colours would work just as well.

The Coastal Cabana base card is topped with an embossed layer of Calypso Coral card. The buttons add a layer of craty texture. Using this suite makes me want get out my sewing stash!

I have given in to my weakness for stationery, particularly pens, and created a tone on tone array of Calypso Coral writing and colouring tools. Don't they look fabulous all lined up together?

The sentiment is the focal point with some more buttons, cut using the Arts & Craft dies, and another coloured pen in a supporting role. Isn't that a perfect message for any crafter?
