Sparkle of the Season - International Project Highlights for September 2021

Hello and welcome to my blog. This is my card to entry to Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights for September 2021 - the theme is Thank you. Saying please and thank you is a common courtesy, but sometimes you want to go the extra mile and acknowledge an act of kindness or a supportive gesture by giving a card. This card is simple, yet has a clear message!

Although we are promised warm weather for the next week or so, it's clear that summer is drawing to a close and there is a definite nip to the air as we move towards Autumn. So,
I reached for the Sparkle of the Season bundle for my card, which I admit I purchased to prepare for Christmas, but it has beautiful Autumnal images too.

The card begins with a Basic White layer which has an embossed  pattern on it - I think straight lines count as a pattern! I used my score board to make them, but alternatively you  could use the scoring blade on your trimmer. Start in the centre of the layer and score lines evenly to create the desired pattern.

Next, I die cut an autumnal wreath from Basic White to form the centre piece. To this I added a few more leaves snipped from extra White and Blackberry Bliss wreaths, aswell as
a few of the individual leaves in the set. The single wreath feels a little less sparse now. To finish I added a few gold metallic pearls and the grateful sentiment white heat embossed on a thin strip of Blackberry Bliss card.

As mentioned at the beginning I am entering Kylie's International Project Highlights and you can follow the link to the gallery where you will find heaps more inspiration AND you can vote for your favourite five projects. At the end of the voting the Top Ten winners will be invited to take part in a blog hop at the end of the month.

I would love to take part in the hop, so I would really appreciate your help. Please would you visit the gallery and vote for my card? Click on the little heart on my card, which is number 11.
