All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop - You're a Peach Suite

Hello and welcome to our All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop for September 2021. This month we are using the You're a Peach Suite. To give you even more inspiration each of us has created another project using the You're a Peach products. Here is my project for today.

I chose to use similar elements on this card to those I used on my card for the tutorial and, very satisfyingly, I used up the leftover piece of vellum. As I need to increase my stock of birthday cards I have made another one today.

The Balmy Blue paper has a very calming effect on me especially with a scattering of coordinating flowers - I am imagining relaxing in the garden with a sweet scent filling the air. 

The leafy background was stamped in Pear Pizzazz and pruned to sit around the narrow banners.  The Balmy Blue Banner is just wide enough to accommodate the Happy Birthday sentiment - I love the hand-written style of the sentiments in this set. The stamped, die cut flowers were adhered to the branches using glue dots - the petals can curl more naturally this way! I applied some adhesive sheet to Balmy Blue card before die cutting the tiny flowers, which made them easy to place on the card. And, the blue, adhesive backed gems add just a little bit of sparkle! Pretty as a peach, without a peach in sight!
