Hello and welcome to my blog. A bright and sunny September 1st has arrived albeit with an Autumnal nip in the air, but I am wondering where August went to! Very little crafting happened, that's for sure. There was a frenzy of activity revolving around plans for my new kitchen, interspersed with buying supplies for starting and returning to university for my eldest two children. Now, I'm looking forward to the work starting on the kitchen and also when the room is finished but I'm not looking forward to the mess and disruption or the house feeling empty without the twins!Anyway, there is lots of news from Stampin' Up! that I want to share with you, but before I do that how about a card? This one is made using the Whale Done suite - I love the colours in the DSP and the embossing folder is just wonderful. I have used all the elements from the suite on this card, except for the ribbon. I took inspiration from the Annual Catalogue, where you will see lots of fabulous examples on pages 94 - 96.
So, what is in the news from Stampin' Up!
Firstly, there is a very special joining offer for September. The Starter Kit is always an amazing opportunity - it's £99 and is fully customisable. You choose catalogue merchandise, of your choice, up to the value of £130 and the kit also includes a business supply pack (valued at at least £25).
During September, in addition to the regular starter kit, new recruits will also receive two stamps sets (So Much Love and Queen Anne's Lace), enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, with envelopes, and a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels. You can choose how to replicate the samples with your friends, famiy or customers. Just WOW!You can join here to take advantage of the Get & G0 promotion.
The new Cut & Emboss machine is here! It's sturdy and easy to use - all the plates you need to get started are included and they are labelled with a number and are colour-coded so it's simple to make a sandwich. I'm really happy with mine and it looks great sitting on my desk!
You could choose to add the Cut & Emboss machine to a Starter Kit or buy hereThe last Stampin' Up! update relates to the Clearance Rack - it has been refreshed, but supplies are limited.
Before you go, I'll leave you with a final look at my card.
If you want to purchase the items used for this card, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop. You can follow the link or click on the pictures below of the products I have used today.
