Hello and welcome to my blog. This weekend I had a fabulous trip to a team training day where we made cards, a home decor item, ate cakes and chatted. There was also swapping! So today, I am sharing the card I made as my swap and it's another cute card using the Snowman Season stamps.
I've used some of my stitched edged dies to create the layers and my Blends to colour in the scene. For my icy colour scheme I've used Whisper White, Seaside Spray, Purple Posy and Vellum card stock.
The stamp set includes a flurry of snowflakes that are stamped repeatedly over the rectangle of Seaside Spray to create the background. I used matching ink for the tone on tone look and rotated the stamps to give a random snow scene. I've added Ice Stampin' Glitter to the snowflakes and snow drift. This new product has the texture of sugar and adds a lovely sparkle to the snow!
Can you spot another new product? The Seaside Spray ribbon is knotted around the card. It has a fabulous metallic fleck running through it. The colours, the glitter and the silver thread in the ribbon all add to the wintery feel.
