Customer Thank You cards for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop February 2021

Hello! I am participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in training that is helping us with our Stampin' Up!® business. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am pleased to welcome you here to my blog!

We are sharing ideas for Thank You cards to send to our customers during February. If you place an order with me during February 2021 you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase!

I have used the Pierced Blooms Dies together with the So Sentimental bundle - and, oh don't the stitched details on the rectangles coordinate so well with those on the flowers in the new Pierced Blooms set?

I selected several scraps of card and die cut multiple flowers and leaves and began to arrange them on top of a scalloped rectangle, which makes a perfect little canvas. I have mixed Soft Sea Foam, Night of Navy, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Vellum card stocks. The silver strand in the Bakers Twine compliments the silver heat embossing on the label and the In Color Enamel Dots are perfect centres to the Vellum flowers.

All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop - Forever & Always with love

Hello and welcome to our All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team blog hop for February 2021. This month we are using the Love You Always Suite. The tutorials are produced bytwelve demonstrators from around the world and are exclusive to those that have earnt or purchased them. They come complete with photos and video directions. The supply list includes measurements in both metric and imperial.

Here is a sneak peek of the Love You Always bundle of tutorials.

And a closer look at my own project for this month's bundle of tutorials.

To enjoy these tutorials you have several options:

  • Shop with me - if you order from my online store you will receive that month's bundle for free
  • Purchase - Buy the bundle for £11.50
  • Join my Team - team members will receive the tutorials for free

For the blog hop each of us in the team shares a different project to the one included in the tutorial bundle ensuring that you have plenty of inspiration for using the Love You Always Suite. My card for the blog hop features the Forever & Always bundle and the striking black and white True Love Designer Series Paper. One side of the papers is floral whilst the reverse has bold, geometric designs.

Adding a layer of embossed Magenta Madness as a background allows the dramatic designs of the black and white papers to shine and for the flowers to pop! I cut three black panels using the Stitched Rectangle dies and adhered strips of the geometric DSP on top. They sit just inside the stitched edge detail giving a neat, skinny black outline and are popped up on Dimensionals. The flowers are fussy cut and coloured using the Blending Brushes to give the merest hint of colour.

The die cut words in this set are just fabulous. Combining one of them with a die cut label and stamped word from the set creates the perfect with love sentiment to complete my card.

Now, this is a blog hop so I'm sure you would like to see the inspiration from the rest of the team. Click on the names on the list below to hop around and see all the other amazing projects. Enjoy!

Adorable Snail Mail Thank You

Hello and welcome to my blog. How can it be February already? Recently, I have had a lot of fun creating cards using the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper. The cards I am sharing today were initially designed to give to the children in my class to say thank you for the gifts I received at Christmas - I thought that the fun, cute images were perfect for the job!

This card layout is fast becoming one of my favourites - using different papers and embossing folders gives it a new twist. The same card - but different! For the base card and the embossed panel I picked coordinating colours to those used in the patterned paper; Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight and I used the Scripty Embossing folder to reinforce the writing element of Snail Mail!

The
sentiment is stamped in black Memento ink before being cropped out using the Classic Label punch. White Bakers Twine is wrapped around the embossed panel before it is adhered to the card base and then to finish the card I've added a few of the resin heart embellishments - I couldn't resist those!

I have to admit that I bought this pack of paper because I fell in love with one of the Hearts & Kisses samples on page 14 of the Mini catalogue which features Real Red paper over printed with white hearts. However, I was converted to the Snail Mail suite as soon as I saw the rest of the papers in person. In fact, I went on to order the stamps and dies because I enjoyed working with the papers so much. Can't wait to create some more fun cards when they arrive.

In the meantime, I am going to make another batch of these cards and tweek the sentiment so that I can send some cards just because! Itty Bitty Greetings has a couple of good ones; a little hello and sent with love. Everyone needs a little bit of happy snail mail don't they?

These cards are my entry to Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights for February - the theme is Thank You. Please follow the link to the gallery where you will find more inspiration AND you can vote for your favourite five projects. At the end of the voting the Top Ten winners will be invited to take part in a blog hop at the end of February.

I would love to take part in the hop, so I would really appreciate your help. Please would you visit the gallery and vote for my card? My card is number 41.

Thank you for stopping by today.
