Gathering Together Treats for the New at SU! Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today, I am participating in the New at SU! blog hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative papercrafting ideas to share with you to get you crafting. We are showing off fun ways to gift treats! Treats come in all different shapes and sizes, and boxes can be made any size too!

My treat boxes are sized to accommodate a gift card, or a simple bag of sweet treats or biscuits. All of which look amazing when presented in a box. These will be filled with sweets and presented as table gifts for my class attendees. These boxes can easily be scaled up for larger items.

The Gathering Together Suite has been parked on my desk for a while now - it's a suite that is particularly apt for the time of year. Days have a cooler, fresher start. Pretty rustic colours and crisp fallen leaves accompany me on my walk to work. It must be Autumn.

The design of my boxes is the same, but I have decorated them in three different ways. On the first, I stamped a selection of leaves on Crumb Cake, the second has a white base with stamped leaves using the same colours and the final one is decorated with DSP. 

The tops were decorated with a die cut label from the Traditional Labels Bundle stamped simply with Your friendship means the world to me and some Gold Striped Mesh ribbon. The label could be placed directly on top of the box as the lid fits over the base and as such the boxes are self closing. However, I wrapped the boxes with a belly band, for extra security, because the sweet treats I added were quite thick and I didn't want the boxes popping open!

These boxes turned out to be quite cute and I can already think of several other things to fill them with. I hope that my project has inspired you today.
