Bright and bold Bloom by Bloom

Welcome to my blog today. I am so happy to be participating in Kylie's International Highlights for April. The theme is Encouragement. Making and writing a card is a great way to send some love and tell someone you are thinking of them, whether that be sending get well wishes, saying thank you or even Wow! I think you are amazing. Who can you cheer up by sending a card?

My bright and cheerful card only uses a few supplies. It is quick and easy to put together, so it would be a perfect starting point for a new crafter. Having said that, I think it would be a perfect project for an avid crafter to pack up and take on a trip to get a crafting fix whilst on holiday!

I have used small Memories & More cards as a starting point for my cards - they come, ready cut and scored, in packs together with envelopes in either Whisper White or Night of Navy. Although, of course, you can cut your own bases, in whichever colour you prefer, and make envelopes with the Envelope Punch Board. 

• Small cards (fronts only) 8.2cm x 10.8cm, 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" 
• Coloured layer 7.6cm x 10.2cm, 3" x 4"
• Whisper White layer 7.3cm x 9.9, 2 7/8" x 3 7/8"

For the stamping I have used the 2018-2020 In Colors. I think that these bright colours compliment the bold images in the Bloom by Bloom stamp set really well. I'm really pleased with how clean and fresh these cards turned out, and I've found another opportunity to use the fabulous sentiments in the Incredible Like You set.
