Hello and welcome to my blog. I am delighted to be part of the All Star Video Class Group. We create a Video Class Bundle with exclusive tutorials complete with photos, video directions and a supply list that includes both Metric and Imperial measurements, and we also hop together each month sharing another project using the same suite.

This month we are using the Les Shoppes Suite and this is a sneak peek of the projects included in this month's bundle of video tutorials.

Thank you for joining me today for the All Star Design Team Video Class Bundle Blog Hop for October 2023. At the start of each month, each of creates another project using the featured suite of products to give you even more inspiration. Here is my additional Les Shoppes Suite project.

For my card today, I have created my favourite type of shop. A book shop which sells indulgent cakes or a relaxing cafe that stocks interesting books (especially if they are recipe books!) is my kind of ideal establishment.

The card is a simple tent fold card. The Thick Basic White base is overstamped with Basic Gray shop fronts to break up the white space. I layered a strip of the mosaic style DSP onto a piece of Basic Gray and embossed it with the Distressed Tile folder to add deeply etched texture before layering it up onto another slightly bigger piece of Basic Gray.

The shop front itself is stamped in Balmy Blue ink on Thick White card (so that it's sturdy). The coordinating dies enabled me to cut out the apertures for the windows and then I used the cut-out elements to stamp up the displays, using Basic Gray ink for contrast. As the stamps are photopolymer I was able to position the cakes and books perfectly. The shop fronts are raised up on Dimensionals so that they sit proud from the card and the displays sit in the recess so that you look into them.
