Saying Thank You with Peaceful Poppies and So Sentimental

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today, I am sharing a Thank You card with you as part of Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights for the month of January.

There are plenty of ways to say Thank You and show that you appreciate a kind act or a thoughtful gift, but what better way to express thanks than making, writing and sending a card?

My card is simple and several elements shine and make it special. The Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper takes centre stage and shines all by itself and the sentiment is pretty and bold - there is no mistaking that the purpose of the card is to say thank you!

The So Sentimental stamps is a collection suitable for many occasions, including a wonderful thank you and the coordinating dies are really special. I love the dies with stitched edges, so these ones were top of my list when I was able to purchase from the new Mini catalogue. The set of dies comprises nesting rectangles and some fabulous shapes that perfectly nestle around the sentiments in the stamp set. I foresee many of my future crafting projects using this bundle.

The Peaceful Poppies paper dictated the colour combination I used, which is Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry and I really rather like it! Silver heat embossing is always a winner in my book and I think it looks stunning on the Rich Razzleberry label. The crinkled seam binding ribbon finishes off the card with style.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. This Highlight is fun because you can vote for your favourite five projects in the gallery. At the end of the voting the top ten winners will get the chance to be part of an international blog hop that will take place at the end of January. I would love to be able to take part in the hop, so I would be really grateful if you would visit the gallery and vote for my card.
