Stitched with Cheer sharing Christmas Joy

Christmas decorations are the best, aren't they? Ours range from expensive, lavish and over the top right through to the simple and creative ones that I have made.  In our house, it doesn't matter how much they have cost to buy or how long they have taken to create, all of them are cherished, beautifully displayed each year and then lovingly packed away again after Christmas.  In the past I have enjoyed making all sorts of decorations and some of my favouries are hand stitched ones.  Reindeer with great big red noses and also, cute stockings with red stitching.  Definitely inspired by decorations from Scandanavia.
That is where today's card is inspired from.  I must admit that, initially, I bought the Stitched with Cheer stamp set because I loved the two banners in the set.  As I used the other stamps I realised that they reminded me of Scandanavian style decorations.
Out came the Real Red and Whisper White supplies!  The stamps are photopolymer so it is easy to see where you are stamping and to create the pattern.  Yes, the card is simple, but I think that is why it makes me think of Scandinavian decorations.  And, I like it.  A lot!

I hope you like it too.  Which decorations do you treasure and must be displayed each year?
