Gift Card for Global Design Project #GDP082

I'm really pleased with this card even though it is nothing like the card I had planned in my head!  The Global Design Project challenge this week is a sketch challenge.  I have mulled ideas over in my head since Monday, but when I came to sit down to make my card the ideas didn't seem to work.  Slightly frustrating, but then I had a light bulb moment and the card I'm sharing today came together really quickly.  Phew!

I'm pleased that the card features the Designer Series Paper - I often hoard paper because it is too special to use, but I've decided that it is much better to use the paper to make a special card and to send it to someone special.  I love these papers because the colours are vibrant and the patterns are such fun.  The mantra of the sentiment fits perfectly!

The card is suitable to send to anyone and could be used for those ellusive, difficult to make for masculine cards.  What do you think?  There are times when it's tricky to decide on a gift too, so this card has a sneaky pocket on the inside which is just the right size for a gift card!

Sadly, some of these products are not going to be in the next Annual Catalogue but that means there are some bargins available, only while stocks last.

Thank you for visiting today.  Happy Crafting

  1. A really pretty card Karen ... love the colours and the addition of the tassel. And the inside of the card is such a wonderful idea! Love it. Thanks for playing along with us here at Global Design Project!

    1. Thank you so much for you kind comment.
I think that the little pocket will feature in quite a few cards in the future!
