Abstract Impressions for Random Acts Of Kindness Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Random Act of Kindness (RAK) Blog Hop.  You are visiting Karen Henderson in England.  I am so happy to be showcasing the cards I have given and received as part of the Random Act of Kindness Group on Facebook.

Each month, we each select a few people from the Group to send a RAK card to, to brighten their day. Please feel free to join the Group if you would like to participate in the RAK cards movement (blogging is not mandatory). If you would like to join our awesome group here is the link to the group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/randomactsofkindnessgroup/

These are the cards I have made using the Abstract Impressions stamps, together with the Subtle embossing folder, some circle dies and a swoosh of shimmer from the Wink of Stella pen.  For the greenery I stuck with the same combination of Soft Sea Foam and Pear Pizzazz but for the flowers
I have had such fun experimenting with different colour combinations and I'll show you a few of my favourites!  The first pair feature Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather - don't they look fabulous together?

Next, there is Flirty Flamingo with Melon Mambo.

There is also a lovely soft combination of Calypso Coral with Petal Pink!

I also tried flowers stamped in Mango Melody/Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade/Petal Pink, but the light faded before I snapped thier photo.  As I hot footed my way to the post office with my envelopes I wore a huge smile...participating in this wonderful group brings me so much pleasure.  It was fun trying out the different colours and making up a batch of cards.  Sharing them makes me happy.

These are the cards I have received in June:

Laura Buechler - this was sent in May, but it travelled all the way from America, so I didn't recieve it until June.  I am really going to miss these papers!

Nicky Morgan - the Graceful Glass Vellum looks stunning wrapped around the vanilla layer.  Such a clever way to attach this gorgeous paper to a card.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day.  You are currently visiting Karen Henderson.  Please see the list below & hop around all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don't want to miss any!

    1. So pleased you like it Mary 😊
The strip of flowers behind the circle is stamped. When you stamp using the same colour card and ink it creates the most wonderful tone on tone effect. I hope that helps, Karen
