2018 Autumn/Winter Catalogue

Today is somewhat autumnal, and I'm left wondering how the last few weeks have flown by so quickly and left the summer behind us as a memory.  Since I last posted here I have been on holiday to Rome with my family and this last week I returned to school to meet a new class in a new classroom!  It is rather chaotic, (the room not the children) as we are still unpacking boxes and finding resources.  Even though I haven't managed to share anything recently, (a combination of busy summer holidays and computer issues!) I have still been creating a few things.

The 2018 Autumn/Winter catalogue began on 5th September and you can see it all HERE

There is a huge variety of products ranging from the very traditional Christmas through to the very cute together with some non-christmas goodies for autumnal and spooky projects.  There really is something for everyone.  Why not take a look and see for yourself.

The first thing I wanted to play with was the Dashing Deer bundle.  Three deer images and some lovely sentiments, together with a set of coordinating thinlit dies.  The price of the bundle saves you 10% compared with the price of the stamps and dies if purchased individually.

I have used Cherry Cobbler card as my feature colour to keep the feel very traditional, and I've teamed it up with copper foil, copper heat embossing and Crumb Cake/Soft Suede for the deer.  The Swirls & Curls embossing folder was highlighted using some of the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint, which I also used to stamp a flourish with under the sentiment.  Shimmer paint is wonderful!  I bought one colour to experiment with, but now I NEED to buy more...there are four colours altogether.

I wanted to make multiple cards at the same time, so to speed up the process, I used my Stamperatus to stamp the die cut deer shapes.  While I was cutting and stamping this large deer, I also cut and stamped one of the smaller images to make some different cards.  These are cute 3"x3" cards that I sent out with my catalogues.  (If you don't already have a demonstrator and would like your own copy of the catalogue, please contact me.)

I am determined not to leave Christmas until the last minute this year, and so, each time I make a Christmas card I am producing at least one spare so that I build up a little supply!!

As always, happy crafting,
