Saying Thank You with Label Me Bold

Hello and welcome to my blog. Thank you cards are forever useful and I love giving them out. I made these ones for Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights where the theme for February is Thank You. Now, I have a pile of them ready and waiting for when they are needed.

I think that the colour combinations for this style of card are infinite. Bright, Subtle, Rainbow - they'd all work. I wanted to make a fun, fresh looking card and The Label Me Bold stamps fitted the bill perfectly!

I have taken the idea of Simple Stamping very literally. I have just used one stamp from the set and used it repeatedly to make a banner saying Thank You. The Shimmery White card adds a little pizazz to the simple layout.

Using my Snips I trimmed a single stamped image from a scrap of Shimmery White, leaving only a very skinny border, and mounted it onto a thin strip of card. This was placed as an accent on the middle row of the border of Thank Yous.

How would you describe these cards? Clean and simple, quick and easy or fresh and fun. I'll let you decide! It was fun using different colour combinations. A firm favourite, and one I turn to often, is Gorgeous Grape/Highland Heather. Seaside Spray looks equally good with Night of Navy or Highland Heather. Other combinations I've used are Poppy Parade/Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay/Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green/Night of Navy. Obviously, there are oodles more to try!

These cards were quick to put together and I'm happy with how effective the simple layout is. I'm feeling pleased and well prepared with a pile of Thank You cards that are ready to go!

Thank you for visiting my blog today. This Highlight is fun because you can vote for you favourite five projects in the gallery. At the end of the voting the top ten winners will get the chance to be part of an international blog hop that will take place at the end of February. I would love to take part in the hop, so would you help me by visiting the gallery and voting for my card?
