Customer Thank You cards for August 2021 - Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop

Hello! I am participating in a blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world who are taking part in training that is helping us with our Stampin' Up!® business. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!

We are sharing ideas for Thank You cards to send to our customers during August. If you place an order with me during August you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase.

I hope that my customers like the Hand-Penned and Beautifully Penned (Sale-a-Bration item) papers as much as I do because I have totally focused on these pretty pattered papers for my Thank You cards this month.

The layout of the cards is exactly the same for each one but the pattern on the paper dictated the colour of the base, layers and embellishments producing a fabulous assortment of cards. The
Hand-Penned DSP from the Annual catalogue features a hand-penned water coloured look with a white pattern over a soft wash of pastel on the reverse.

The Beautifully Penned papers, that are part of the Sale-A-Bration offering, have similar designs but are more dramatic in a black and white colourway.

For each card, the layer of pattered paper is framed with a layer of card edged using one of the dies in the Penned Flower dies. It sits just above the pretty stitched, scalloped edge allowing the Designer Series Paper to really shine.

I stamped Thanks from the Hand-Penned set on to a tag cut using the Tailor Made Tag die set, tied a small bow with twine and added it to the card over a delicate floral die cut and some ribbon. Small accents were all that was needed to finish the cards. It was fun mixing and matching to suit the card - I used Matte Black Dots, Pearls and Genial Gems.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope you have been inspired! As mentioned at the beginning, this is a blog hop so make sure you hop ar0und to see the other amazing projects on the hop! Click on the links below to visit them.

  3. Such a great card design, Karen. Using the die-cut adds such a great embellishment. And it's always great to let the DSP to most of the work.
