Falling Flowers for the Random Acts of Kindness Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Random Act of Kindness (RAK) Blog Hop. You are visiting Karen Henderson in the UK. I am showcasing the cards I have given as part of the Random Act of Kindness Group on Facebook.

Each month, we each select a few people from the Group to send a RAK card to, to brighten their day. Please feel free to join the Group if you would like to participate in the RAK cards movement (blogging is not mandatory). If you would like to join our awesome group here is the link to the group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/randomactsofkindnessgroup/

These are the cards I have made.  Making and sending these cards was such a pleasure.

I used my Stamperatus (avaiable in the new Annual Catalogue from 1st June 2018) to ensure that the flower images were stamped in exactly the same place on each piece of card.  The coloured card was stamped with ink to match the cardstock and on the Whisper White card I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I used my Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers.

The bottom secton is approximately one third of the card and it lines up with the top section from another piece using the positioning brilliance of the Stamperatus!  The words on the black card are stamped using Versamark ink and embossed using white embossing powder.  The white words, from the Perennial Birthday set, pop wonderfully.

Even though I had fun mixing and matching, I left some of the layers of coloured flowers complete as they were so pretty by themselves.

Opening happy post is just brilliant...there's the excitement of wondering what will be inside the envelope, which is then replaced with a warm humble feeling as realisation sinks in that someone has taken the time to pop some happiness in the post to ME! Over the last few days I have received some fantastic cards.  The kindness and generosity of crafters is so heartwarming.  Thank you to each of you that have brightened my day!

These are some of the cards I received.

I hope that this project on my blog today has inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Karen Henderson. Please see the list below & hop around all of the people on the list to see all the projects. You don't want to miss any!
